Marriage Counseling - Dale Hartman

Marriage can be exciting, enriching, intimate, and growth producing. Often, however, our marriage relationships are not intimate. They can be chaotic, lonely, full of conflict and we long for love, harmony, and to be heard. I have had specialized training in marriage counseling and what I have come to understand over the years through this training and experience, is that couples tend to get “stuck” in using the same unsuccessful efforts over and over again at changing themselves (or changing others), hoping they will get different and better results. My job is to help coach you in finding new solutions that bring about the results that you want in your relationship. We examine what efforts you have made at “fixing” your difficulties and what worked and what did not work. We then develop and practice new and more effective ways relating to each other.

I work especially well with couples who are seeking:

  • Better communication
  • Healthy ways of relating to each other
  • Improving Intimacy and sexual intimacy
  • Healing their relationship after an affair
